A long time obsession with the trestle table culminates in this piece, a contemporary rendition. We reimagined it with broken down components or “composites” that meet and come together to form legs and supports. Through these pieces, the table’s charm is found in the thin strips of wood, the negative space that divides them, and the intricate joinery where the parts come together. Simple and straight forward from a far, full of intricacy and detail upon closer inspection.
