A long time obsession with the trestle style tables culminates in a contemporary rendition. We reimagined it with broken down components or “composites” that meet, come together and pass through each other to to form legs and supports. Through these pieces or “composites”, the table’s charm is found in the thin strips of wood, the negative space that divides them, and the intricate joinery where the parts come together. Its a simple at first glance, but full of intricacy and detail upon closer inspection.
